Climbing World Cup: Every year, Chamonix welcomes the IFSC Climbing World Cup, attracting the world's top climbers for three days of thrilling climbing. Now established as a prominent global climbing destination, Chamonix-Mont-Blanc continues to host the World Cup for both speed and difficulty, solidifying its status in the climbing community.
Cosmo Jazz Festival: the Cosmo Jazz Festival takes place in July each year and is a creative fusion of live music and stunning mountain settings. This entirely free festival showcases captivating live performances in some of Chamonix's most breathtaking locales. Apérojazz takes over the streets of Chamonix and as night falls, the musicians unite for the Cham Jam sessions, keeping the music alive until the early hours.
Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc (UTMB): Starting in Chamonix on August 26th 2024, runners will race 171 kilometers and 10,000 meters of positive elevation gain around the Mont-Blanc through Italy, Switzerland and France. Three countries are crossed for one extraordinary adventure.
