Your Chalet Mélèzes Experience - Winter
Chamonix offers 5 fabulous ski areas with Chalet Mélèzes ideally situated in the middle of the valley, in Les Bois village. It is closest to La Flégère lift (500m walk from the chalet) which conveniently links to the Brevent ski area in Chamonix town centre. Cross country enthusiasts can access exceptional pisted trails just 250m from Chalet Mélèzes.
There are three ski rental shops close to La Flégère, with our preferred partner, Mandrillon Sports, offering guests a preferential rate.
ESF Chamonix offer private ski lessons from La Flégère between December and April. Group lessons operate from Chamonix town centre from 3+ years.
Non-skiers can enjoy beautiful, flat walks alongside the cross country pistes, as well as by the river Arve, which leads to Chamonix centre in around 30 minutes. The centre of Chamonix affords a plethora of shopping, eating and drinking opportunities, all with an unforgettable view of Europe's highest mountain, Mont Blanc.
A free bus and train service links the valley so you are never far from returning to the warmth and comfort of Chalet Mélèzes after a day on the mountains.
Your Chalet Mélèzes Experience - Summer
Chalet Mélèzes is perfectly situated less than a kilometre away from Chamonix Golf Club as well as a multitude of mountain biking and hiking trails of varying difficulty. The stunning Chamonix Tennis Club is a 30 minute walk away - close to the town centre.
The free bus and train service through the Chamonix valley continues throughout the summer months.
Of course you might not want to leave Chalet Mélèzes at all because its south-facing orientation, ensures ample sunshine and stunning vistas throughout the year, whilst you are sunbathing on the terrace or lounging in the swim-spa.

Transfers &
In-Resort Driving
Chalet Mélèzes offers private parking for up to 4 cars including an underground garage and direct access to the ski room and chalet beyond. An electric charging point is also available.
For our guests who choose to fly, transfers to or from Geneva Airport can be arranged. The transfer time is usually around 1 hour and 15 minutes.
A driver can be arranged for the convenience of you and your guests during your stay.
Additional Info
For absolute post-ski convenience, you'll find a highly functional boot room adjacent to the garage, complete with heated boot racks.
Younger guests are provided for with a lower ground floor children's bedroom with its own en-suite bathroom, and a games room with X-Box and plenty of other games to help youngsters relax after a day on the mountains.
A further bedroom is available for nannies and extra guests with its own en-suite shower room.
